Support user requirements and translate into system architecture
• Contribute to overall system design on related subjects (interfaces, risk, margins and budgets)
• Perform system level detailed analyses and simulations (WCA, FMECA, S/S intercompatibility analysis)
• Generate system level documentation (EMC, Radiation Hardness, Frequency Control plan)
• Support shadow engineering of subcontractors
• Solve design problems in consultation with in-house specialists, customers and subcontractors
• Support Electrical Lead Engineer
• Execute work package management
• Contribute to Electrical Engineering knowledge base
• University degree (M.Sc/B.Sc) Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years space experience in design and development of electrical equipment for instruments
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methods
• Coaching and technical management skills
• Good communication skills in speech and writing (English; Dutch is preferred but not strictly required)
• Team player
Dutch Space is a supplier of subsystems for the European space industry. It is the main player of the Dutch space industry.
TROPOMI will map the global air quality and the distribution of greenhouse gases. The earth observation instrument will therefore provide crucial data for monitoring air pollution and climate change on earth. TROPOMI is a successor to previously launched earth observation instruments.
